Jo is the chair of the Value Match Foundation, co-founding with David. Originally qualifying as a barrister, Jo originated the Value Match concept and is responsible for the development of the six Values and leads their promotion to organisations and individuals.
Jo is also a member of the KDC Trustees Board, a workstream lead for the Contract for Change programme and a member of the How Do Companies Act Steering Group.
Jo’s values are Responsible Action, Sustainable Prosperity, Community and Relationships.

David, working together with Jo, brought the Value Match concept to fruition. David works at a senior executive level across public, private, and civil society. This includes managing transformational change for the US Federal Government, NHS Supply Chain and as Managing Director of the UK Government's Procurement Service. David is a NED of Social Value UK and is leading the work for Contract for Change (a programme which seeks to increase the economic, social and environmental impact delivered through procurement). David’s values are Environment, People, Sustainable Prosperity and Relationships.

Emily is studying Animal Management at Reaseheath College and works one day a week at Hayrack Church Farm, assisting in the feeding, cleaning and medical treatment of the livestock and birds, ensuring their wellbeing.
The Foundation is dedicated to the memory of Emily’s father, Paul Parkes-Lewis. Emily shares her father’s passion for the natural world and wants to pursue a career in entomology.

Mel has dedicated his career to the creation of high quality, sustainable homes within thriving communities. Mel is a fluent welsh speaker who emphasises consultation to find out what matters to people when meeting their housing needs. Mel’s work has been nationally recognised receiving the Constructing Excellence Wales Client of the Year Award and the RTP Cymru Award for Planning Excellence for ‘The Walks’ development in Flint, which Mel managed on behalf of Flintshire County Council.
Mel is a lifelong supporter of Welsh rugby and football (and Liverpool FC!). Mel also enjoys mountain walking and cycling.

Sue is co-owner of Value Match Consulting Limited, working as its company secretary for 12 years, managing the day-to-day affairs and supporting clients by preparing procurement documents and analysis. Prior to this Sue worked for Merseyside Police for 15 years in various roles.
Sue was an advanced swim teacher and coach for many decades, training abilities from non-swimmer to international champions.
Sue's Values are Sustainable Prosperity, Environment and Community.

Brian’s volunteering includes building and maintaining the Value Match Foundation website. He has also financed the making of independent films exploring how best to support people with depression. He is a supporter of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
Brian is a multi-award-winning podcaster, most recently at the Lux Life Travel and Tourism Awards 2021 for Under the Awnings.
Brian works as the head of marketing and communications for Value Match Services. Brian's values are Sustainable Prosperity, Community and Relationships.

Neil has worked for construction procurement specialist LHC for 15 years. Neil has developed LHC's business across the UK and established the Welsh Procurement Alliance, as director, to support LHC’s clients in Wales. Prior to 2005 Neil’s career was in the contract flooring industry in technical, sales and marketing roles for a number of manufacturers.
Outside of work, Neil is a keen road cyclist and has played, modestly in his own words, 'a lot of reasonably serious cricket’.

Jane has a remarkable ability to solve problems, multitask and manage fast moving, high risk environments. Jane is the rock on which the Foundation stands. Starting her career in air traffic control with the RAF, Jane has since co-ordinated freight and passenger aircraft, private jet, helicopter, and logistics company operations.
Throughout her life Jane has worked as a swimming teacher including schools and dry side training for Liverpool Swimming Squad. Jane swam for the RAF and British Combined Forces as well as internationally for England, holding many national junior records and titles.
Jane's Values are People, Environment, Community, Relationships.

Alison has worked as a dentist within the NHS and private practice for over 30 years, and has volunteered for many years providing emergency dental care training to health care professionals in rural Tanzania. She is also a trustee of a local charity, The Movement Centre, which provides specialist, life changing physiotherapy-Targeted Training. TMC support children with disabilities which affect their movement control, such as cerebral palsy helping them gain new life enhancing skills.
Alison is a keen rower and badminton player and enjoys spending time with her family.
Alison works with Value Match Services in resourcing.

Martin works in procurement as Head of Relationship Management and Social Value and was elected to the Council of Governors for his local NHS Foundation Trust in London. Prior to this Martin worked in finance in his native Ireland where he also completed his MBA before moving to the UK in 2018. He is passionate about volunteering and led a volunteer group set up in response to the first lockdown in 2020. His Values are responsible action, community and relationships.
